Northern Ireland nursing staff need pay parity now

Tell your MLA that Northern Ireland nurses and nursing assistants deserve pay parity with colleagues in the rest of the UK

Health and social care services in Northern Ireland are stretched too thinly. And now, nursing staff in Northern Ireland may not receive the same pay award for the 2024-2025 financial year as our colleagues doing the same work in England and Wales.

There are thousands of nursing vacancies yet there is no incentive for staff to continue to work in the HSC. Nursing staff in Northern Ireland have been left behind and denied a pay award we deserve.

We need our politicians to take action to stop the crisis in health, for the sake of patients and the hard-working staff who are keeping services running.
